September 21st: San Mateo. THE CHURCH OF SAN MATEO The construction of the Church of San Mateo was completed at the end of 1800. It so happens that the church bell, which was added four years later, was sent from Cuba by Canarian emigrants from the area. Inside the church there are numerous works of art of great artistic value.
	AGRICULTURAL AND LIVESTOCK FAIR Every weekend -on Saturdays and Sundays- this fair is held in the style of a popular market place, offering fresh and natural products for sale and attracting people from all corners of the Island. OTHER PLACES TO VISIT. THE MUSEUM OF CHO ZACARÍAS : A museum/restaurant dedicated to handicrafts and typical farming tools of the area. LA BODEGUILLA MOUNTAIN : A natural vantage point, half-way down towards Santa Brígida, offering some fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.
