ST VICENTE FERRER CHURCH
St. Vincent's Church is almost as new as the borough itself, one of the most recent on the Island. Though the original chapel dates from the first half of the 17th century, the present church was opened at the end of the 19th century. The Mudejar craftsmanship and the image of St. Vincent, brought to the chapel in 1746 by Dominican brothers, are the finest examples of its artistic patrimony.

VALLEYS AND RAVINES
This is an area of abundant rainfall, contradicting fortunately the name of Valleseco which means " dry valley " in Spanish. Green and fertile, with scenery that verges from the idyllic to the pastoral, this valley, together with its adjoining neighbours - Valsendro and Madrelagua - make up the most luxuriant region of the Island peaks. The ravines, with their exuberant vegetation, are a permanent display of an infinity of varieties of plants and trees. In La Virgen ravine (Barranco de la Virgen) , for example, there are even remains of the old laurisilva forests which used to exist in the borough.
